Yellowstone

As much as I have enjoyed Iconic locations such as Machu Pichu, the Serengeti, Antarctica and the like, our National Parks hold a special place in my Heart. And first among the special, is the amazing Yellowstone National Park. I have visited the Park half a dozen times including a memorable winter visit.

It sits on top of a hot caldron of fire and gas below, the largest such phenomenon on Earth, ready one day to end our way of life if not life itself on this planet. There is beauty, and awe in that fact.
