Alaska

Alaska has been my favorite go to place since my first visit there in 2002. That trip involved a 6-day float on the Gulkana River with my two sons, Bob and Mike and a friend, Alan Remsen. It was memorable!

Since then, I have visited Alaska three additional times that included a week at a remote fishing lodge with a lot of bush plane travel; A cruise from Seward to Vancouver, and a trip with my wife Susan.

Alaska calms me and at the same time excites me. It is a Wild raw place, but peaceful. Wildlife, landscapes, and lingering days that don’t really end but have a long sunset slowly turn into a sunrise.
